Anne Frank was a Jewish girl, born June twelve, 1929, and lived thru the time that Hitler was controlling Germany. Her folks escaped to Holland, to start a new life where they could do what they wanted. She had a pop, mummy, and a sister that was 3 years older than her. She was in Holland at the time she celebrated her thirtheenth birthday.
On that day she received the nicest gift any person could give her…a diary. Anne had dreams of turning into a writer, and was happy with her present. Rather than writing “Dear Diary”, like any other person would, she named her diary. She wrote to Kitty…as she called her diary. On the 1st page of her diary she wrote this : I am hoping I shall be in a position to confide in you totally, as I haven’t ever been in a position to do in anybody before, and I’m hoping that you’ll be a great support and comfort to me.
Anne Frank She continued writing in her diary 2 days later. She wrote in it for over 2 years. That diary became one of the most printed books ever, and had been interpreted into over sixty different languages. Anne had many mates in Holland, and she played with them each day. Her chums and she played practical jokes on other residents, like pouring water on their head from a building above.
